Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series leader, Bailey Sweeny has revealed a sleek new helmet design in celebration of the two upcoming Kumho TCR World tour rounds down under.
The back-to-back Shannons SpeedSeries rounds could be a memorable occasion for the New South Welshman for a number of reasons – not only will he sharing the track with some of the world’s best TCR drivers, but is in a commanding position to win a maiden national title in his home state.
The helmet was specially prepared by Diamond Helmet Designs for the international rounds and features both Sydney Motorsport Park and Mount Panorama track layouts on the top.
“It came about earlier in the year when I mentioned the idea to Hyundai and was met with great support from them,” Sweeny said.
“It’s cool to be heading to two of my favourite tracks for the TCR World Tour and to have them on the top of helmet.
“Diamond designs have been a great supporter of mine and his work is seriously next level.”
Race Sydney will kick off the double-header for two days on 3-4 November before the Supercheap Auto Bathurst International runs as a traditional three-day event on 10-12 November.
Headlining both events will be Kumho TCR World Tour, which will see some of the best TCR drivers from around the world share the grid with Supercheap Auto TCR Australia for six 30-minute races across the two events.
